What does it mean to be "On Mission"? This past Thursday night, the Elders and Staff shared a vision that God has laid on our hearts for WRCC. There were blue stickers to put on those who were "on mission". No, we're not talking about someone who's been "on a mission trip" or just a huge fan of the "Blues Brothers". This phrase speaks about someone who has realized that God has given them gifts and talents to use for His Kingdom purposes. Not only do they realize these gifts, but they seek God and opportunities to put them to use! God showed us the way when He sent His Son, Jesus, into the world on a rescue mission to save all of us that He created and loves. Now, as Christ followers, God is sending us into our neighborhoods, communities, and world to carry on this mission for His glory. Christ followers are the "sent" people of God. Are you living life that way? Are you living a life "On Mission"?
