All 8 ladies arrived safely yesterday after the 7-hour drive to Beverly, KY in the beautiful Appalachia Mountains. Their job assignment will be to paint two bedrooms, install paneling, and trim pieces in her bathroom for an elderly lady who lives by herself (and physcially unable to do this work).
The ladies are anxiously looking forward to meeting the homeowner and to help make her home more enjoyable to live in, as well to get to know her on a personal level. Rain is predicted for most of Monday, but this is not going to effect the team's attitude one bit. They came to serve; come rain or shine!
