Thursday started out on the cool side but turned out to be a beautiful day. We saw 159 families including 17 new families. There were 20 volunteers on Tuesday and 53 on Thursday. We always need more volunteers for this large amount of guests. We especially need volunteers from 5-6pm so come on out. You will receive more than you can possibly give as far as blessings.
I want to remind you all that we are doing an all church food drive this Sunday and next Thursday evening and Sunday morning during the services. We picked up about 20 bags last night and are hoping to at least double that on Sunday. We are always in need of boxes of cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix and syrup, crackers, canned meats, boxed dinners and toilet paper. Just leave your donation outside your car and we will come by and pick it up. If it is raining please take your donation to the collection box in the ministry area. Go ahead and put a few items in a bag and stick them in your car right now while you are thinking about it.
We are also in need of paper and plastic bags. We have 2 people that are willing to donate fresh eggs each week so we are in need of egg cartons. Please put those in the collection box as well.
We do realize the price of groceries has gone up and it is getting harder and harder to keep up for just your own family. We so appreciate your generosity. May God bless you richly!
